As for the Lewis Black piece…*sigh*…nothing like going straight to Godwining things. By this point, though, I shouldn’t be surprised.
I’m not much of a Lewis Black fan, BUT the bit highlighted here was actually much more subtle than he’s given credit for here. FIRST, Black points out that Beck is shocked, shocked, totally SHOCKED that opponents of SB 1070 compare anti-immigration sentiment to the Nazi’s. THEN Black points out Beck’s unbelievable fondness for comparing liberals/Obama to the Nazi’s. He was in no way saying that Beck, Russell Pearce, or Jan Brewer are, have been, or will be fascist swine.
