David Morales has compiled comments Huppenthal made on the Three Sonorans blog using the Falcon9 alias. Can these comments possibly be worse than what we’ve already seen? Take a look. These are direct quotes, so I’ve left in any misspellings.

“Che Guvera is not to be afraid of, he is to be despised and his memory should be defecated upon.”

“Yes, MAS=KKK in a different color”
[NOTE: “MAS” is short for “Mexican-American Studies.”]

“You can’t believe a word on this blog. No book whatsoever has been banned. Just that MAS skin heads can’t run classrooms. They were teaching hate in these classes, just as this blog preaches hate and revenge.”

“Their having an orgasm over the claim that their book was banned. Now, maybe a student will read it.”

“You have an ethnic majority, hispanics, oppressing an ethnic minority, small business owners, exacting a property tax and paying to force students to undergo a toxic indoctrination.”

“Senate President Russell Pearce was a very good man. Like the sheriff in High Noon, he restored the rule of law. In short order, murders collapsed from 240 to less than 100 in Phoenix, car thefts plunged from 50,000 to 25,000, drunken driving fatalities collapsed and uninsured motorist collisions dropped dramatically. Thank you Russell. We are all safer as a result of your efforts.”

  1. Seriously? Huppenthal idolizes Russell Pearce? That is one of the worst lapses in good judgment and common sense I’ve seen from him yet. This Goober (Huppenthal) lives in an alternate universe. He is despicable.

  2. Now that Huppenthal’s stupidity has been disclosed, will the people of AZ show how extremely stupid they can be and actually re-elect this idiot to public office. If he doesn’t resign, AZ Repugs will no doubt keep him, Tom Horne and Doug Ducey in office.

  3. You forgot this one:

“The rejection of American values and embracement of the
values of Mexico in LaRaza classrooms is the rejection of success and
embracement of failure. That’s the real issue here. They are teaching
these kids to hate America and what it stands for.”

Sure, Hupp loves hanging out with his south side friends. He just doesn’t like the “embracement” (sic) of Mexican values, such as failure. Nice, John. Really nice.

  4. We’ll have to assume that Huppenthal is keeping his Falcon9 and other accounts to dislike the comments.

  5. Anyone who can’t capitalize or spell belongs with Hup. You need some more edufication, there DWLR.

  6. Anyone who can’t capitalize or spell probably IS Huppenthal, doing what he does best, being a sock puppet.

  7. Give the Mexicans TUSD, and just to be fair – because I would hate to have my comment deleted – give them El Paso too.

  8. Many of us have known just how bigoted and hate-filled Huppenthal is and how his particular hate for people of Mexican heritage fueled his politics from the time he ran for office up through to current day. His public remorse has only to do with getting caught; certainly not for his acts of contempt. What is not understood is why Stegeman and Hicks, who essentially collaborated with Huppenthal’s hateful sentiments- by testifying AGAINST the District’s official pro-MAS position- are not feeling any of the heat. The Board Majority at the time of the MAS take down- that is, Stegeman, Hicks, Cuevas and Sugiyama- could have utilized the US Constitution’s Supremacy Clause to trump the outrageous racist legislation- HB 2281. MAS was part of a desegregation remedy and the legal justification was clear. Instead- Cuevas and Sugiyama took cover, while Stegeman and Hicks testified against the District based on their own racist inclinations. Stegeman will likely respond that is was the threat of losing 10,000,000 million dollars in funding that “drove” him- after all he is a genius Economics professor. The truth is, he lacks human compassion and understanding relative to ethnic and racial differences. And Hicks, well- his pride in being anti-desegregation, anti-anything having to do with Latinos has been revealed many times over. Where is the accountability for these politicians. Remember- Hicks is up for re-election!
