The Glendale Elementary School District has looked into whether they had a class full of Hispanic students who would “rather be gang members and gangsters” and “hate America and are determined to reclaim this area for Mexico,” as alleged in a letter sent to Senate President Russell Pearce and read aloud on the Senate floor by Sen. Lori Klein.

District officials say they believe the letter’s allegations “were not accurate.”

The Arizona Republic reports:

The district interviewed students and the teacher at Harold W. Smith Elementary School.

“The district believes that the statements made by Mr. Hill in regard to our students and school were not accurate,” according to the release. “Students who were interviewed did not recall making or hearing any of the inflammatory statements attributed to them by Mr. Hill, and students also said they stood for the daily recital of the Pledge of Allegiance.”

One reply on “Glendale Elementary School District: Our Schools Are Not Full of Would-Be Gangstas Who Hate America”

  1. My son is autistic and for a time he entered the Los Angeles School District. He was belittled by the kids in 8th grade, because he didn’t speak Mexican/Spanish. He has a issue with intercommunication skills and didn’t easily assimilate, with the other kids and he told me the some of the kids said he shouldn’t be in California, Because it was stolen from Mexico. When I first went to enroll my son in the School, I had to wait as only one or two people spoke English in the office and somebody had to fetch them. There is no doubt in my mind, that the Arizona letter is factual and the contents is a true account of what is happening in our schools. What is outrageous is we are forced by the courts, to educate these children and give their families welfare, health care, when we can hardly afford it for our own families. Reading about this organization called LaRaza, should be abolished for teaching these kid’s these lies. Its an interesting fact that the federal government, even gives money to this radical group.
