The highly anticipated Pizza Bianco is coming to downtown Tucson, and we can practically taste the artisan pizza. We broke the news in December, and everyone under the sun has written a feature on the highly anticipated Phoenix based pizzeria. Finally, the restaurant’s imminent opening date was revealed in a Instagram post Thursday afternoon.

i wont wait no more tan 5 minutes to be seated unlike the PHX location where the wait is up to 1.2 hrs
Great in PHX, but will they have gluten-free pies????
Not worth the drive to Phx. nor to downtown Tucson. Try Scordato’s Pizzeria where the pie is just as good if not better. The wait time at Scordato’s/Vivace Pizzeria is more then reasonable & without a doubt the people /employees are well trained & FRIENDLY unlike the workers at Pizza Bianco in Phx. Please support our own local business people.
Its going to be Awesome having someplace New to eat pizza downtown!!! Who cares if the wait is longer then 5 mins, Gluten-free? Its all in your head………..
Simonetti – Agree about Scordato’s, it’s great, truly under-rated Tucson gem. But i think there’s room for Bianco here as well, and the guy seems to love Tucson. it’s local-ish. No reason both can’t thrive here – Scordato’s always seems to be doing really well even in the summer. they will not suffer from Bianco being here.
Has anyone who’s commenting about pizza ever eaten Chris’ pizza? Or been to Brooklyn?
There is no longer a wait time in Phoenix since Chris has opened for lunch. And if you can call Scordato’s greasy substitute for pizza hasn’t a clue to what culinary greatness can be.
You think that they hand out James Beard awards to schmucks?
