Harvest Feast
Five chefs are putting their heads together for the Tucson Community
Food Bank’s “Dinner Under the Stars” at the Marana Heritage Farm (12375
N. Heritage Road) on Sunday, Oct. 25. The event—featuring locally
grown foods—starts with a social hour at 5:15 p.m. and is
followed by a five-course dinner. It’s $100 per person and limited to
80 guests, with proceeds benefiting hungry people across Southern

Boca
Boca is a new high-end taco joint opening soon in the old Greasy
Tony’s location at 828 E. Speedway Blvd. Owner Brian Mazon says the
place will serve 13 kinds of tacos, 10 kinds of salsa, beer and up to
100 kinds of tequila. An outdoor seating area is also in the works.
Hours will be 10 a.m. to 3 a.m., daily. Mazon says the place should be
open by the end of the month.
Zombies!
Zombies prefer the flesh of the living, but droves of them will head
down to the Surly Wench Pub (424 N. Fourth Ave.; 882-0009) to satisfy
their undead appetites after the Zombie Walk on Saturday, Oct. 24. The
bar has killer pub grub and will be featuring zombie-themed cocktails

Free Burritos!
Chipotle Mexican Grill (905 E. University Blvd.) will be handing out
free burritos to anyone with valid UA identification from 5 to 8 p.m.,
Friday, Oct. 23. Hmmm … free burritos and college students: Think

Native Seeds/SEARCH Dinner
Janos Wilder holds his annual benefit for Native Seeds/SEARCH at 6
p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27. Wilder will use heritage foods—like
tepary beans, mesquite honey and prickly-pear syrup—alongside
pan-seared halibut and ceviche for a dinner that is bound to be out of

Noshing Contest!
