The Secretary of State just updated the unofficial election results, and the news was good for Raul Griljalva.

Giffords? Not so much. Her lead is now less than 2,200 votes.

There are still a ton of late early ballots (not an oxymoron, really) and provisional ballots, as Jim Nintzel noted earlier. So these races—especially Giffords/Kelly—are indeed too close to call.

  1. That means there were 120,157 brain dead excuses for human matter walking the streets of Tucson, and the other communities in Pima, Pinal, Cochise and Santa Cruz counties voting for little Missy Flip-Flop not because of her record but because she’s a cutie, but not much else.

    You can’t be for us if you’re for Obamacare and you oppose SB1070, sweets.

  2. I think I agree with you politically, but take extreme exception to characterizing those who disagree with us as “brain dead excuses for human matter”. If you want to criticize the ideas of others base your argument on sound principles of political theory or philosophy and apply those principles to social conditions you want to change or preserve. Shallow and emotionally driven insults are more appropriate for a schoolyard or dive bar than for the exchange of political ideas that brings improvement to society and the economy. Put forth opinions, viewpoints and arguments that can be judged in the marketplace of ideas that venues like this should be contributing towards.
