The Tucson Roadrunners ended the preseason with a 3-2 comeback win over the Texas Stars. A tie game going into the final minute, defenseman Cal Thomas ripped a shot from the blue line, snuck it past the Stars goaltender and gave the Roadrunners the lead — and eventually the win.
