Ain't Nobody's Bizness
2900 E. Broadway

READER'S PICK: Fodor's 1998 Gay Guide to the USA noted that The Biz had "lots of lipstick and good hair." Excuse us, but we think they've confused Tucson's location with the glitzier one in Phoenix. Not that you won't find tinted lips or classy doo's, but there's really so much more here. The Biz is Tucson's lesbian meet-and-greet arena, the place where you go to check out who's out and about, and who's been staying home. Ever since they opened, Ain't Nobody's Bizness has provided a slice of nostalgia that hasn't changed a bit. Yes, the '80s-era Nagel prints are still up; the Victorian, smoke-free and almost soundproof back room remains; and the music is a few years off. But hey--at least they don't haunt us with the Electric Slide.
