Best "First Lady" Of Local Sports

Adia Barnes

STAFF PICK: Adia Barnes is big on firsts. She's the UA's first-ever All-American in women's basketball, the first Cat to be Pac-10 Player of the Year, the first to lead her team into the NCAA Tournament (and then to the Sweet 16 the following year), and the first UA player to be drafted by the WNBA, where she is starting for the Sacramento Monarchs. And where does she rank among the school's all-time leading scorers? Yup.
