Swan and 22nd, there's a great all-American family attraction--The
Home Plate Sports Pub. The name nearly says it all: In addition
to the bar and grill (the latter of which serves a full array
of sandwiches, burgers and the like), there are six batting cages
catering to a varied range of ability. Still and yet, it's a pub
in its own right. Kids are welcome when accompanied by an adult,
until 9 p.m. all week long. Depending on your tastes, you can
make this a first-inning endeavor or a seventh-inning undoer.
Open more than it's closed, this place means long hours of fun
for everyone.
