You're at the sacred source of all the frozen confections sold to the tune of "Popeye The Sailor Man." Excel's subtitle is "Arizona's Home of the Bomb Pop," and if you don't believe it, see if the mural of a Bomb Pop hurtling through deep space to overtake the Starship Enterprise doesn't convince you. Excel sells only in bulk, so be prepared to order by the dozen. The menu features 145 different kinds of ice on a stick, with temptations like Mystery Squeezers, Tropical Tickles, Bozo Cups and Frooty Patootys in addition to the more traditional Root Beer Float bars and Fudge Bombs. By the way, the red, white and blue Bomb Pops are delicious.
