STAFF PICK--TIE: We offer a monstrously big welcome to these two (relatively) new companies, the best in a bumper crop of alternative theatre companies lately springing to life in the Old Pueblo like spadefoot toads after a monsoon rain. Their productions are not always perfect, but at least both are making an honest stab at doing serious, prickly theatre. And we have them to thank for taking over the old a.k.a. Theatre space, the newly renovated and rechristened Theater Congress.
