Best Inaccessible Urban Park

STAFF PICK: Winsett Park, located to the north of Value Village on Fourth Avenue, offers many charming amenities and points of interest to the stress-filled urban resident. Or, to be more precise, it would offer these amenities were it not kept under lock and key. By peering through the pink fence, however, one can imagine the hours of blissful fun awaiting within. For one thing, there is the 30-by-30-foot slab of concrete covered with fading prints of shoes. What child could fail to be enchanted by this magical wonderland? Then there are the three trees, providing just the right arboreal touch for picnics or romance. Finally, for art lovers, there's an unprecedented view of the constantly-evolving Meña mural of a gigantic toe. Above all, however, Winsett Park allows us the opportunity to savor a moment of peace and tranquility in our busy daily lives.
