Best Neon

STAFF PICK: Like a finger pointing at the heavens, a slim tower of green and pink neon rises perhaps 20 feet into the air from behind the building of Miracle Breeze Manufacturing, 1920 N. Oracle Road, slicing the air of the cruel, dark night. Unlike most storefronts with great neon signs, Miracle Breeze Manufacturing, which makes cooler pads, isn't exactly a service establishment. In fact, they're not even open at night. The neon hangs on a radio tower once used to dispatch trucks, but the truckers use pagers now, and the people at Miracle Breeze, always alert to wonder, decided to wrap it with neon in a pure gesture of celebration of the marvel of commerce, neon and the modern miracle of the cooler pad.
