SPORTS Events This Week BISBEE STAIR CLIMB. One of the most unusual races in the U.S. takes place on Saturday, October 19, in Old Bisbee. Climb 1034 stairs on nine public stairways. The event begins at 9 a.m. at the Cochise County Couthouse. Registration begins at 7. Early registration through October 7 costs $15. After October 7, it's $20. All runners get a free T-shirt.
