The club is a free, year-round program for kids ages 10 and under held the first and third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. Each session features different entertainment and activities plus giveaways from mall merchants. In conjunction with Connections Across Generations featuring American Indian paintings, artist Geronima Montoya and her sons visit with kids and adults to share stories. A Master Art Class and a Master Creative Writing Class (with poet Sherwin Bitsui of ArtsReach) are geared for kids between the ages of 8 and 16. Add a creative mark to the museum?s gigantic sidewalk mural, find corn images in the exhibit and learn how to use a mano y metate to grind corn on Saturday, October 19 from 1 to 4 p.m.

READING LADIES. Bookman's on Speedway. 6230 E. Speedway Blvd. 748-9555. The Davidson Reading Ladies offer readings from some of your favorite picture books on Monday, October 21 from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

TALES OF AFRICA. Live Theater Workshop. 5317 E. Speedway Blvd. 327-4242. Traditional drama, music and rhythmic dances choreographed in conjunction with Zuzi! Move It Dance Company. Three different tales take kids on a magical journey using animal masks and colorful costumes. Performances take place on Sundays at 1 p.m. through December 1 and cost $5.

THE SECRET GARDEN. Arts For All, Inc.. 2520 N. Oracle. The family musical has all the magic of Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic novel with sophisticated music and charming animals.
