The club is a free, year-round program for kids ages 10 and under held the first and third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. Each session features different entertainment and activities plus giveaways from mall merchants. SAFETY SAFARI. Reid Park Zoo. 22nd Street between Country Club Road and Alvernon Way. 791-3204, ext. 17. Tucson's Zoological Society hosts this safety event for children. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, parents can get permanent samples of their children's DNA. There will be 1000 DNA kits available on a first come, first serve basis. The free event features fun safety activities, including a teddy bear clinic. Kids can bring their favorite stuffed friend to the Zoo for a check-up.
