Congress St. Theater League presents Smokey Joe's Cafe, featuring the classic rock and roll songs of Leiber and Stoller and starring Gary Bonds and Rita Coolidge, Friday, January 25 through Sunday, January 27. Dine with an illusionist and experience magical effects from India, China and the lands of imagination including indoor snowstorms, escapes from a straitjacket and pouring streams of mysterious waters. Purchase of dinner gets you into the show which starts at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 4 p.m. on Sundays through March 31. Buckskin, Satin and Song is Western musical theater for the whole family featuring cowboys, hard-to-tame women and a dance hall hostess, continuing through March 30. Shows are at 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays with a 3 p.m. matinee on March 10. Tickets cost $13.95 for adults, $8.95 for kids under 12. Dinner and show tickets are optional.

GASLIGHT THEATRE. 7010 E. Broadway Blvd. 886-9428. Melody of the Range, or Trigger Happy rides the range with singing cowboys of yesteryear, and plenty of two-fisted action and three-part harmonies. It continues through March 23. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays, 9:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets cost $14.95 adults; $12.95 students, active military and seniors; and $6.95 children 12 and under.

INVISIBLE THEATRE. 1400 N. First Ave. 882-9721. Sketches: Edith Head's Hollywood has its world premiere featuring Susan Claassen in the role of Hollywood's famous costume designer. The show continues through February 3. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and Sundays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sundays. Tickets cost $12 to $20.

LIVE THEATRE WORKSHOP. 5317 E. Speedway Blvd. 327-4242. Winnie the Pooh features the tale of the bear of little brain and his enchanting friends every Sunday at 1 p.m. through March. Tickets cost $5.

All shows are at 7:30 p.m. except for 3 p.m. matinees on Sundays. Tickets cost $13 with discounts for students, seniors, military personnel and groups at $11.50.
