This world in a bubble features multimedia exhibits, an ocean viewing gallery, lush rainforest and guided under-the-glass group tours plus restaurants and shops. Open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Christmas. Admission costs $12.95 adults, $8.95 kids 13-17, $6 kids 6-12 and free for kids under 5.

EARTH FIRST!. Tucson Earth First! employs creative tactics to protect remaining wild lands and the species that rely upon them. Join Earth First! members for a meeting and vegetarian potluck at 6 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month. Call 740-0810.

RECYCLING CENTERS. The following neighborhood drop-off centers are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily: 1010 E. Tenth St.; Booth-Fickett Magnet School; Jacobs Park; Joaquin Murrieta Park; Tucson Convention Center, northwest corner of Cushing and Granada; Mansfield Park; McCormick Park; Morris K. Udall Park; Golf Links Sports Park; Rodeo Park; Kennedy Park; Randolph Park; Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (base access required); and Los Reales Landfill. Hours at Los Reales are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. For directions and holiday hours, call 791-5085. There is a multi-material recycling facility at Freidman Recycling, 1825 W. Prince Road, near Roger and Romero roads, 696-0660. Call the ReThink-It line at 791-5000 for information.
