CLINICAL TRIALS FOR DYSPEPSIA. A major Swiss pharmaceutical company is conducting a placebo-controlled research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a medication for functional dyspepsia. Volunteers are being screened for participation in a Phase II clinical trial nationwide. Qualified participants receive study-related medication and health assessments. ENDOMETRIOSIS RESEARCH. Advanced Clinical Therapeutics, in association with Pharmacia and Upjohn, is conducting a clinical research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a medication for endometriosis. Women between 18 and 49 who have been diagnosed with endometriosis by laparoscopy or surgery may be eligible to participate. All study-related exams and medications are provided free. Seniors may enjoy a nutritious, well-balanced lunch either in a congregate setting or through a home-delivered meal.
