CATALINA PLAYERS. UA Campus, Grand Hall. 400 E. University Blvd. 721-9640. The comedy No Sex Please, We're British runs July 20, 21, 22, 27 and 28 and August 3 and 4. HOW THE WEST WAS SUNG. Hidden Valley Inn Restaurant and Saloon. 4825 N. Sabino Canyon Road. 299-4941. The rootin' tootin' Crystal Palace Revue stars Miss Crystal, the "Songstress of the Sagebrush," and her Crystal Palace Players. Performances run through July 22 at 7 p.m. with 3 p.m. Sunday matninees. Tickets cost $13.95 for adults and $8.95 for children 12 and younger. A separate optional show menu offers appetizers, entrées, desserts and more, starting at $7.95. Call for reservations.

NEW KIVA MOTIONS PUPPET THEATRE. Red Barn Theatre. 948 N. Main Ave. 887-5144. Performances of Summer Stories run every Sunday at 1:30 p.m. through July. Tickets are $3 per person, $5 for two children and $2 for people with AHCCCS card or low-income bus pass. Kids can get up close and personal with the puppets after each show and the audience gets a chance to make a simple puppet to take home. The theater is wheelchair accessible. AUDITION NOTICE. Desert Players Theatre is holding auditions for the musical Nunsense by Dan Goggin July 28 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, on Alvernon Way between Pima Street and Grant Road. Callbacks are at 5 p.m. There are roles available for five women. Bring bio, photo and music (lead sheet, if possible). An accompanist and tape/CD player will be provided. The Tucson Community Theatre is holding auditions for The Lion in Winter July 24-25 at 7 p.m. Bring a two-minute dramatic monologue or be prepared to cold read from the script. SCRIPT MEETINGS. Professional and aspiring writers for the stage, screen, radio and other performance media are invited to join Old Pueblo Playwrights, a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging the creation of new scripts by Arizona authors.
