A.D.D. TRIO. Mat Bevel Institute. 530 N. Stone Ave. 882-7154. The trio, which includes Robert Dick on flutes, Christy Doran on guitar and Julian Arguelles on drums performs May 22. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

BRIGHT & CHILDERS. Bookman's Used Books. 1930 E. Grant Road. 325-0241. Acoustic duo Nancy Lynn Bright and Hank Childers perform a varety of music that is fun and serious, colloquial and quirky, and sharp and poignant May 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

CLASSICAL GUITAR CONCERT. Thornydale Elementary School. 7751 N. Oldfather Road. Allegro students ages five and older perform classical guitar May 19 at 1 and 4 p.m. Admission is free.

DIXIELAND SHOWBAND. Gaslight Theatre. 7010 E. Broadway Blvd. 886-9428. The Rob Wright Dixieland Showband performs May 21 at 7 p.m. Tickets range in price from $6 to $10.

GUITAR RECITAL. Crowder Hall, UA. University of Arizona. 621-3341. Tom Patterson performs a guitar benefit concert May 22 at 7:15 p.m. Call for ticket information.

JAM SESSION. Kickstart Grill. 8987 E. Tanque Verde Road. 296-1231. Come play, dance, sing or just sit back and enjoy the music May 19 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free and all are welcome.

JERRY GLOMBECKI. Hazy Dayz Lounge Cafe. 187 N. Park Ave. Local favorite Glombecki performs a mix of folk and blues May 17 at 7:30 p.m. In addition, enjoy the music of Gus Brett, the "czar of sorrow." Admission is free.

LARRY CLAPP. Classical pianist/composer Larry Clapp performs a benefit concert for Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona, Inc. May 18 at 7:30 p.m. in Chandler, Arizona. Tickets are $15 and are available at the Chandler Center for the Arts box office at (480) 782-2680 or at Ticketmaster at (480) 784-4444.

MUSICAL REVUE. Rincon University/High School auditorium. 421 N. Arcadia Drive. 440-5661. The Choraliers Show features songs from Broadway musicals that the whole family can enjoy. The concert takes place May 18 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person at the door.

PREM JOSHUA. Living Community Center. 330 E. Seventh St. 623-0913. Classically trained musician Prem Joshua performs music from his latest CD Dance of Shakti May 18. Tickets are $15 and are available at Hear's Music.

QUEEN IDA & THE BON TEMPS. St. Philip's Plaza. Corner of Campbell Avenue and River Road. 623-1000, ext. 15. The Tucson Jazz Society presents Queen Ida & The Bon Temps Zydeco Band May 20 at 7 p.m. Crawdaddy-O is the opening act. Gates open at 6 p.m. when Daniel's and Ovens restaurants serve Louisiana creole dinners prepared from Queen Ida's recipes. There are also free dance lessons offered. Tickets are $15 and $20 in advance and are available at Hear's Music, Obsidian Gallery and Antigone Books. Tickets are $25 at the gate.

ROCKY TOP BLUEGRASS. Red Barn Theatre. 948 N. Main Ave. 622-6973. Enjoy an evening of bluegrass music May 17 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for children under 13.

TUCSON POPS. Reid Park. Broadway-Alvernon. New York Baritone Steve Gray performs with the Tucson Pops May 20 at 7 p.m. Gray sings selections from Les Miserables, The Lion King and other shows. In addition, Gray is joined by Connie Warren for a tribute to Andrea Bocelli. Admission is free.

WENDY MCMURRAY. Bookman's Northwest. 3733 W. Ina Road. 579-0303. Singer/songwriter Wendy McMurray performs an original blend of blues, jazz and folk music May 18 from 7-9 p.m. Admission is free.

YOUNG ARTISTS SHOWCASE. St. Philip's in the Hills Church. 4440 N. Campbell Ave. 299-6421. St. Philip's salutes members of its youth music groups and their contributions to the parish May 20 at the 9 a.m. service. The Children's Sunday School has a special assembly at 10:15 a.m. in the Murphey Gallery and graduating high school seniors and acolytes are honored at the 11:15 a.m. service. In addition, the Young Artists Showcase concert featuring musicians from the parish takes place in the Bloom Music Center at 4 p.m. Admission is free and all are welcome.
