DISC GOLF. Santa Cruz River Park Disc Golf Course. The Tucson Chain Lightning Disc Golf Club holds informal tournaments every Sunday at 3 p.m. Players of all levels, including novices, are welcome. Loaner discs are available at tournaments. Call Dave at 791-3845 for more information.
INLINE SK8 CLUB. Reid Park. Southwest corner of Broadway Boulevard and Alvernon Way. The Tucson Inline Sk8 Club meets every Sunday for a fun recreational skate. All ages and abilities welcome. In addition, join in organized activities throughout the year such as the Valentine scavenger hunt on skates. A free half-hour skating lesson is offered every third Sunday. KOMEN RACE. Register online for the Komen Race for the Cure at www.SAZRacefortheCure.org or call 319-0155. The race takes place April 1 and raises money for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
RUGBY. Oury Park. 600 W. St. Mary's Road. The Tucson Magpies hold open rugby football practice from 6 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday through April. Athletes of all skill levels are welcome. SONORAN DESERT MOUNTAIN BICYCLISTS. Jon a 28-mile ride to Gardner Canyon February 24 at 8 a.m. Single-speed bikes are encouraged to participate. Meet at exit 281 of I-10.
