The hospice seeks volunteers to work two to four hours each week in its offices or in support of those living with terminal illness. A ten-week training program is offered Tuesday mornings beginning February 20. Hospice training provides increased understanding of the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual challenges of living with dying and grief. Class sizes are limited to 8-10 people. The library, which is housed at their offices, would like to create a comprehensive collection of publications on two topics: women's spirituality and religion, and progressive non-profit management and women in philanthropy. To help create this library, donate used books in good condition (above topics only) or purchase a book from the Women's Foundation's book wish-list at Antigone Books (at a 10 percent discount).
