DISC GOLF. Santa Cruz River Park Disc Golf Course. The Tucson Chain Lightning Disc Golf Club holds informal tournaments every Sunday at 3 p.m. Players of all levels, including novices, are welcome. Loaner discs are available at tournaments. Call Dave at 791-3845 for more information.
INLINE SK8 Club. Reid Park. Southwest corner of Broadway Boulevard and Alvernon Way. The Tucson Inline Sk8 Club meets every Sunday for a fun recreational skate. All ages and abilities welcome. In addition, join in organized activities throughout the year such as the Valentine scavenger hunt on skates. A free half-hour skating lesson is offered every third Sunday. RUGBY. Oury Park. 600 W. St. Mary's Road. The Tucson Magpies hold open rugby football practice from 6 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday through April. Athletes of all skill levels are welcome. SONORAN DESERT MOUNTAIN BICYCLISTS. Bring water and energy food and wear boots and work-appropriate clothing February 10 for a day of trail maintenance in the Kentucky Camp/Greaterville/Gardner Canyon area. Meet at I-10 exit 281 (Sonoita Highway) at 8 a.m. Call Mark Flint at 299-9151 for more information. Join in a "standard" Golder Ranch ride with an option for five additional miles to the Catalina State Park boundary February 11. ULTIMATE FRISBEE. The Tucson Ultimate Frisbee Club announces free, co-ed pick-up games at Himmel Park, starting about two hours before sunset every Sunday. It also organizes leagues and tournaments throughout the year, and there's a club at the UA for students. All skill levels are welcome.
