Los Puentes' Breast Cancer Support Groups use expressive art therapies including music, poetry and drama (in English and Spanish) as part of its program. CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP. If you are caring for an elderly or disabled family member or friend, join a caregiver support group offered through the Pima Health System. Learn coping strategies, gain information about community resources and share experiences with others who understand. Professionally facilitated groups meet weekly for eight weeks. CASA DE LA LUZ HOSPICE. The hospice seeks volunteers to work two to four hours each week in its offices or in support of those living with terminal illness. A ten-week training program is offered Tuesday mornings beginning February 20. Hospice training provides increased understanding of the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual challenges of living with dying and grief. Class sizes are limited to 8-10 people. Stone Ave. From 2 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays, vendors sell fresh produce and baked goods at the Lew Sorenson Tanque Verde Center, 11100 E. Tanque Verde Road. Keaton's Courtyard hosts a market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays at Foothills Mall, 7401 N. La Cholla Blvd. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays at St. Philip's Plaza (River Road and Campbell Avenue), more than 20 vendors hawk similar wares and treats including Willcox produce, cage-free chicken, grass-fed beef and emu meat. Most Sundays, shop to live music beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Strength in Numbers: How to Get and Keep People Involved is a free workshop that takes place February 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This training is for neighborhood organizers and grassroots community groups. Learn skills to identify members' interests and motivations, find roles for new and current members and encourage members to take responsibility for getting more people involved.
