Dressing the Part, an work written, produced and performed by Linda Andresano about a costume mistress' memories, opens February 2 and continues through February 11. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 3 p.m. Sundays. Tickets cost $16.

MURDER AT MANNING HOUSE. Manning House. 450 W. Paseo Redondo. Rio Nuevo Productions presents a gangster-themed interactive murder mystery that opens February 1 at 7 p.m. Performances are Thursday evenings through April 5 and showcase an ever-changing lineup of local musicians, magicians, comedians, cabaret revues and other specialty acts. RIVERDANCE. Centennial Hall. University of Arizona. 621-3341. Sponsored by UApresents. The original international phenomenon returns to Tucson February 6-11. Riverdance is a celebration of Irish music, song and dance that focuses on the evolution of Irish dance, as well as its similarities with, and influences on, other cultures. Tickets range in price from $40 to $56 and are available at the Centennial box office and tickets.com.

SILLY SATURDAY COMEDY JAM. Red Barn Theater. 948 N. Main Ave. 622-6973. Stop in for some family fun February 3 at 5 p.m. Tickets are $2 for adults and $1 for children 13 and under.

SNOW WHITE. Temple of Music and Art. 330 S. Scott Ave. 622-2759. Arizona Children's Theatre Co. presents this interactive show February 3-17 at 11 a.m. Tickets are $3 at the door.

THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES. Antigone Books. 411 N. Fourth Ave. 792-3751. There is a free preview of The Vagina Monologues February 3 at 7 p.m. Cast members perform two or three monologues from the play, which opens February 10 at the Rialto Theatre and other venues.

ARIZONA THEATRE COMPANY. Temple of Music and Art. 330 S. Scott Ave. 622-2823. Karen Grassle stars in Margaret Edson's Wit, about a demanding professor and brilliant scholar diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. Wit is a story of transformation in which painful struggles come hand-in-hand with humor and a chance for grace. Performances run through February 3. Tickets range in price from $22 to $35.

NEW KIVA MOTIONS PUPPET THEATRE. Red Barn Theatre. 948 N. Main Ave. 887-5144. Performances take place every Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $3 per person, $5 for two children, and $2 per person with AHCCCS card or low-income bus pass.

BUCKAROOS ON BROADWAY. Hidden Valley Inn. 4825 N. Sabino Canyon Road. 299-4941. The Crystal Palace Players salute Broadway's bronco-bustin' showstoppers in a spur-studded revue about Western-themed musicals. The show continues through March 22 at 3 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $8.95 and $13.95. There are also a special show menu and low-priced children's menu.

LIKE BIRDS WITH CAPTIONS. Temple of Music and Art Cabaret Theatre. 330 S. Scott Ave. The play chronicles events on the Arizona border as seen through the eyes of a small-town editor. Performances take place February 23 and 25 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $7. Call 884-4875 for more information.

ZERRO RIDES AGAIN. Gaslight Theatre. 7010 E. Broadway Blvd. Zerro Rides Again or Arrest for the Wicked, written and directed by Peter Van Slyke with musical direction by Lisa Otey, runs through March 24. Don Diego joins the battle for liberty and justice in his beloved Capistrano while hiding his identity under black cape and mask. Join him as he finds romance and adventure as El Zerro. Performances are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 and 7 p.m. Tickets range in price from $6 to $13.95. AUDITION NOTICE. The Simon Peter passion play of Tucson is auditioning actors for its 2001 production. The play is a three-hour musical drama about the life of Christ, presented Easter week at the TCC Music Hall. Men, women and children of all ages are needed.
