The play is a three-hour musical stage drama about the life of Christ, presented Easter week at the TCC Music Hall. Men, women and children of all ages are needed. New Kiva Motions Puppet Theatre has a paid, occasional/part-time position available for a puppeteer. Qualifications include acting training, an ability to take direction, leftist politics, cooperation, an ability to speak both English and Spanish clearly, reliability, wicked sense of humor, ability to sing or play a musical instrument, two good arms/hands, ability to memorize scripts, height of about 5' 2" and comfort around lesbians. Please have at least three of these traits, although five or more are preferred. New Kiva works with everything--rod, hand, shadow, giant, found-object, bare-handed puppets--except marionettes and will train the right person.
