AMATEUR STRING PLAYERS WANTED. Register now for the 11th annual TAASPA Chamber Music Weekend January 12-14. No need to audition; just alert the organizers to your playing level and they'll set you up with a quartet and send you your part in advance. Or bring your own group. DESERT VOICES. This gay and lesbian chorus is seeking singers for its 12th season, Voices and Visions, which includes Celtic, R&B and Motown music. Rehearsals take place at the Armory Park Senior Center. Volunteers for general office work, including a bulk-mailing coordinator, a ticket master and a concessions coordinator, are also needed.
