A display of books published by the University of Arizona Press, a signing by several of the press' local authors and music and festivities celebrating the unique books published by this local institution takes place November 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. Authors include Miriam Davidson, Ron Butler, George Olin and Mary Irish. TELLEBRATION. Arizona State Museum. UA campus, University Boulevard east of Park Avenue. 621-6302. Tellebration is a National Day of Storytelling celebration sponsored by the Arizona State Museum, the Joseph Stanley Leeds Foundation and Tellers of Tales, Inc. The two-part event celebrates the ancient art of storytelling November 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. on the north lawn of the Arizona State Museum. Later in the evening listen to stories by professionals from many cultures throughout the state from 7 to 10 p.m. in the CESL auditorium. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children.

LATINO PLAYWRITING AWARD. Latino playwrights residing in the United States, its territories or Mexico are encouraged to submit scripts for the 2001 Latino Playwriting Award.
