Join the magical ghosts of Christmas as they open the eyes of crotchety Ebenezer Scrooge to the true meaning and joy of the holiday in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol November 9 and 10 at 8 p.m. Performances run most nights through January 6, 2001, with matinees on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $13.95, $11.95 and $6.

MAGIC SHOW. 7010 E. Broadway Blvd. It's Magic with John Shryock and Mari Lynn from Las Vegas is chock full of high-energy magic and illusion. INVISIBLE THEATRE. Love to All, Lorraine, starring Elizabeth Van Dyke, presents a portrait of Lorraine Hansberry, who wrote the play A Raisin in the Sun. PCC THEATER DEPARTMENT. PCC Center for the Arts Proscenium Theatre. 2202 W. Anklam Road. 206-6988. Summer and Smoke by Tennessee Williams is a tragic story of two lovers and the struggle to balance their spiritual and sexual natures. The play runs November 9-11 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and $7 and are available at the Center for the Arts box office or at the door.

PRINCE AND THE PAUPER. Temple of Music and Art. 330 S. Scott Ave. 622-2759. The Arizona Children's Theatre presents The Prince and the Pauper for kids ages 3 to 12 November 11 and 18 at 11 a.m. Tickets are $3 and $2.

ZUZI'S LITTLE THEATRE. Historic Y. Fifth Avenue and University Boulevard. Luna Muse Productions presents Why We Have A Body, a comedy by Claire Chafee, about four women and their quest for meaning and identity. Performances are November 10-11 and 17-18 at 8 p.m., and November 12 and 19 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at Bentley's House of Coffee and Tea and Antigone Books.

Into the Woods, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, features a bewitching crew of classic fairy-tale characters romping through a magical kingdom in this ravishing musical fantasy.
