Talk about an impressive place to take a date! When's the last time you've read a poem to someone you love? Complete with Kids area and liberal hours, the Poetry Center is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday afternoons 1-4. (Don't forget the reading series, Wednesday evenings at 8, usually in the Modern Languages building on campus.)
