CALL TO ARTISTS. The Greater Oro Valley Arts Council is accepting applications for the Juried Fine Crafts Exhibition and Sale on October 21 and 22. Artists may submit three photos or slides with an application. Fees are $75 per space for artisans using their own tents, or $100 per space using GOVAC tents. The Tucson Arts District Partnership and the TMA are seeking artists for the 2000-2001 "Working Smart with Art" program, a collaborative effort between students, educators, and artists working to create lasting gifts for the community. Applications should include: Artist résumé; statement of artist's previous work with banners or sculpture; a statement of previous experience in art projects with students; and slides of previous work labeled with name, numbered, and placed in a plastic sleeve.
