MONSOON MADNESS. This weekly outdoor music showcase continues its fourth season on Thursday, August 26, with The Wonder Twins featuring Kathy Rivers. The band gets under way at 7 p.m. at Winsett Park, 316 N. Fourth Ave.
OUTDOOR CONCERT SERIES. Udall Park Amphitheatre. 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road. The Arizona Symphonic Winds with clarinetist Elana Weber perform a free concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 28.
REGGAE CONCERT. The Rock. 136 N. Park Ave. Big Daddy Promotions presents Mikey Dread with openers One Blood at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, August 29. Tickets are $12.50, $10 in advance and are available at Twelve Tribes and Rainbow Hair Salon.

DESERT BLUEGRASS JAM. The Desert Bluegrass Association holds a jam at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, August 28, at the Pizza Hut, 2943 N. Campbell Ave. Play, sing along, or just listen. All are welcome.
FOOTHILLS WOMEN'S CHORUS. A group of women who love to sing, no auditions required, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays in the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 665 W. Roller Coaster Road. STRING PLAYERS WANTED. The Civic Orchestra of Tucson, a 60-piece volunteer symphony orchestra starting its 24th season, needs violin, viola, cello, and especially bass players.
