DESERT BLUEGRASS JAM. The Desert Bluegrass Association hosts a jam at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Schlotzky's Deli, 3025 E. Speedway Blvd. Play, sing along or just listen. All are welcome.
STRING PLAYERS WANTED. The Civic Orchestra of Tucson, a 60-piece volunteer symphony orchestra starting its 24th season, needs violin, viola, cello, and especially bass players.
