SPORTS Participatory WAY TO WALK. The Tucson Volkssport Kulb sponsors a noncompetitive 12-kilometer walk at the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area on Saturday, November 23. Sporting Chance Youth Basketball is now accepting registration for youth basketball teams between the ages of 8 to 14 for the 1996 Tucson Holiday Tip-Off tournament, held in association with the Tucson Fiesta Bowl. Opening ceremonies will be December 26, with tournament games continuing through December 29 at the Bear Down Gym on the University of Arizona campus, along with other sites in Tucson. Registration is $95 per team, with financial assistance available for qualifying teams. Each team is guaranteed four games. Call Sporting Chance at 888-1288 for registration and information.
