BROWN BAG CONCERTS. Enjoy lunchtime tunes courtesy of the Tucson Arts District. Munch at the gazebo in La Placita Plaza from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, November 21 with Lee Gardner & Mike Eckroth. Guitarist Norman Kibble-Shane plays at the gazebo from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 26. These concerts are free and open to the public. JAMES ARMSTRONG PERFORMS. Boondocks Lounge. 3360 N. First Ave. 690-0991. The Tucson Jazz Society welcomes roots and urban blues man James Armstrong to Tucson at 9 p.m. Saturday, November 23. This concert is free to all TJS members, and only $5 general. Call 690-0991 for information.

REICH AT CENTENNIAL. Centennial Hall, UA campus, east of the Main Gate off Park Avenue. Modern Music pioneer Steve Reich appears on the Centennial stage at 8 p.m. Friday, November 22. Reich's concert will feature the compelling vocal work of Paul Hilliers' Theatre of Voices. Tickets range from $9 to $23. Call 621-3341 for tickets and information.

REPTILE ROCK. Southwest Center for Music. 2175 N. Sixth Ave. 884-1220. That slick group from the south, The Austin Lounge Lizards, returns to Tucson at 8 p.m. Friday, November 22. Opening up the show will be Folk Festival favorites Small Potatoes. Tickets are $14 advance, $10 for TKMA members, $1 more at the door. RIALTO THEATRE. 318 E. Congress St. 740-0126. Help save the historic Rialto Theatre and move to some fabulous music with the Fabulous Thunderbirds at 8 and 11 p.m. Friday, November 22. Tickets are $15 advance, $20 at the door. The music doesn't stop when Billy Bacon and Chris Gaffney hit the stage at 9 p.m. Saturday, November 23. Tickets are $5. TUCSON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. Tucson Convention Center Music Hall. 226 S. Church Ave. The Tucson Symphony Orchestra presents Titans Three, works by Leonard Bernstein, Mozart, and Mahler, on Thursday and Friday, November 21 and 22. UNIVERSITY MUSIC. Crowder Hall, UA campus, located at the south end of the pedestrian underpass on Speedway east of Park Avenue. The University of Arizona bogies with a plethora of beautiful music this week. Enjoy Great Moments In Opera at 8 p.m. Friday, November 22. This free concert will feature UA vocal students performing scenes from many classic operas. The UA Steel Band presents a free concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 24. Robert Billups plays violin and Janet Anthony plays cello at a concert honoring John Ferrell and Gordon Epperson at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 24. This concert will be performed inside the Holsclaw Recital Hall; all others are performed at Crowder Hall. The Arizona Wind Quintet performs at 8 p.m. Monday, November 25. BISBEE CABARET. The 55 Main Gallery hosts an informal Coffee House "Cabaret Unplugged" from 8 to 10 p.m. every Friday.
