MAPPING A WILDERNESS. The Sky Island Alliance and the Southwestern
Forest Alliance present mapping in the Rincon Mountains on Saturday,
November 21 and Sunday, November 22. Survey a roadless area by
foot or mountain bike while contributing to a regional habitat
conservation proposal. There is an introductory training session
at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 19 at the Water Resouirces
Research Center, 350 N. Campbell Ave. Call 326-4874 for information.

DESERT PROTECTION HIKE SERIES. Join the Southwest Center
for Biological Diversity and the Coalition for the Sonoran Desert
Protection Plan on a hike to see some of the land which will serve
as a cornerstone for the Desert Plan. The hike begins at 8 a.m.
on Sunday, November 22 at the Arthur Pack Park. Call David Hogan
