COLOSSAL CAVE MOUNTAIN PARK. Tour mysterious cave routes and enjoy a rib dinner under the ramada. Tours are conducted the first and third Saturdays of the month. Call 647-7275 for reservations, information and directions.

Listings DIG IT. Old Pueblo Archaeology Center, a nonprofit corporation, offers the opportunity to dig with archaeologists at the Sabino Canyon Ruin, where Hohokam Indians lived 650 to 1,000 years ago. Experience the thrill of discovering buried pottery and other items left behind by prehistoric Arizonans, as the professionals show you how archaeologists excavate, interpret, and care for ancient finds. Reservations are required. Fee includes a tax-deductible donation to help fund the research. Archaeologist-guided tours of the ruin are also available. FISHING CLINICS. Arizona Game and Fish presents an open to the public fishing program from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 1 at Lakeside Park Ramada Number

The program provides 125 rods and reels, as well as bait and tackle. All license requirements are waived during the fishing outing. All ages are welcome. Call Ed Davenport at 884-9394 to enroll for a clinic or to volunteer.

TOHONO CHUL PARK. 7366 N. Paseo del Norte. 742-6455. Regular "Walk in the Park" tours, an overview of the park's 48 acres and its flora and fauna, are offered at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and at 1 p.m. Sunday. "Art in the Park" tours, docent-guided looks at gallery exhibits, are at 11 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and
2 p.m. Sunday. The park offers additional guided tours for your enjoyment. "Birds of Tohono Chul" provides opportunities to observe the many species frequenting the park, and meets at 8 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Grounds are open from 7 a.m. to sunset daily. Exhibit hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Greenhouse hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is $2. WAREHOUSE DISTRICT WALKING TOURS. Walking tours of Tucson's Warehouse Historic District continue every second Saturday, monthly, through April 1999. The tour groups meet at 8:50 a.m. in the lobby of the Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress St., with tours beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting approximately one and a half hours. Free tours cover approximately one mile, and include an overview of the area's history and brief visits to several artist studios. Groups are limited to approximately 20. Participants should dress comfortably and plan to be outdoors for the majority of the tour. RSVP to 624-9977 by 5 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the tour date. TW
