FLAMENCO Y MÁS. PCC Center for The Arts Proscenium Theatre. 2202 W. Anklam Road. Olivia Rojo and Flamenco y Más present Lluvia Flamenca!, featuring Lourdes Rodriguez at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13. Special guests also include Santo, a flamenco ensemble from Phoenix, and Rafael Aragon, guitarist from Los Angeles. AFRICAN DANCE. 121 E. Seventh St. Learn the movements of dance from Guinea, Senegal, Nigeria, Afro-Brazilian and Cuban regions with teacher Denise Hawthorne Bey, from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays, and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays. BALLROOM DANCING. Dance to live music from 8 to 11 p.m. Wednesdays at Let's Dance Club, 6245 E. Bellevue. Singles and couples of all skill levels are welcome. Experience a touch of sophistication and romance with theme-dress occasions and a large, decorated ballroom. You'll start the evening with a 30-minute class, then dance the night away! You can also enjoy dancing to live music from 4 to 6 p.m. the first Sunday of the month. Cost is $5 per person. CREATIVE MOVEMENT. Tucson Creative Dance Center. 3131 N. Cherry Ave. Mary Ann Brehm offers a Creative Dance Course Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8:45 p.m. beginning September 17.
