MONSOON MADNESS. This weekly outdoor music showcase continues its fourth season on Thursday, June 24, with Fez and Liz Fletcher and the Broadway Tramps. The bands get under way at 7 p.m. at Winsett Park, 316 N. Fourth Ave.

SUMMERSET SUITE CONCERT SERIES. St. Philip's Plaza. Campbell Ave. and River Road. The Tucson Jazz Society continues this year's concert series with the Javon Jackson Quartet from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 26. DESERT BLUEGRASS JAM. The Desert Bluegrass Association holds a jam at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at the Pizza Hut, 2943 N. Campbell Ave. Play, sing along, or just listen. All are welcome.

STRING PLAYERS WANTED. The Civic Orchestra of Tucson, a 60-piece volunteer symphony orchestra starting its 24th season, needs violin, viola, cello, and especially bass players.
