ONE MAN'S TREASURE. Odd Fellows and Rebekahs and the Tucson Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired are raising money with a rummage and bake sale from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at 1150 N. Palo Verde Road. Donations for the sale can be made by calling 795-1331.

SAN JUAN'S DAY. Tucson Botanical Gardens. 2150 N. Alvernon Way. 327-9123. Celebrate San Juan's Day with a sunrise celebration at 5:30 a.m. Monday, June 24. Native Seeds/SEARCH, a seed conservation organization saving endangered Native American and Hispanic heritage seeds, will use the demonstration garden at TBG as the ceremony site to bless seeds, soil and farmers and to pray for good rain. Following the ceremony there will be traditional Yoeme deer dances and refreshments will be served. Celebration is free and open to the public, with donations gratefully accepted. PARTY AT THE PLAZA. Experience the charm of a European style open-air market from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursdays at Plaza Palomino, Swan and Fort Lowell roads. Enjoy gourmet food, fresh produce, herbs, coffee, arts and crafts, live music and more. Join the pet fiesta from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 20, to benefit the Humane Society. There will by live music by El Mariachi Tapatio and a variety of pet-related contests. Call 795-1177 for information.

Out Of Town

APACHE INDEPENDENCE DAY. Hear traditional Apache songs, attend a street fair and art show, or watch a chickenscratch dance at the San Carlos Apache Independence Day celebration continuing through June 22. There will be music, food, arts and crafts, and a western dance with music by the Country Image band. Call the Tribal Planning office (520) 475-2331 for information and a schedule of events.
