Listings COURTYARD CONCERT SERIES. Plaza Palomino. Fort Lowell and Swan Road. EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC FESTIVAL. Now Here This presents this festival Friday and Saturday, May 28 and 29. The first concert takes place at 7 p.m. at Holsclaw Hall on the UA campus. Saturday's schedule includes two performances at 3 and 7:30 p.m. at UA Crowder Hall. Admission is free.

IN CONCERT! UA Crowder Hall, southeast corner of Speedway and Park Avenue. Ulali performs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 27. Tickets are $14 and $12 at the door, $10 in advance. Tickets are available at Antigone Books and The Folk Shop, or by phone at 327-4809.

MONSOON MADNESS. This weekly outdoor music showcase continues its fourth season on Thursday, May 27, with Good Question and the Shrimp Chaperone Band. The bands get under way at 7 p.m. at Winsett Park, 316 N. Fourth Ave.

TUCSON POPS. DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center. Reid Park. The Tucson Pops Orchestra takes the stage at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, in this free concert for the whole family.

WIND CONCERT. Udall Park. 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road. The Arizona Symphonic Winds perform a free concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 29.

CALL FOR VOCALISTS. The University Community Chorus announces a call for vocalists for a performance of Felix Mendelssohn's Elijah at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, in Room 232 of the UA School of Music and Dance. Call 621-8651 for information.

STRING PLAYERS WANTED. The Civic Orchestra of Tucson, a 60-piece volunteer symphony orchestra starting its 24th season, needs violin, viola, cello, and especially bass players. Come to a rehearsal and get acquainted at

BICAS. 44 W. Sixth St. BICAS offers the build-a-bike program for all. Take part in the eight-session course and fix up old bikes for the community. Classes are ongoing. Cost ranges from $15 to $60. Call 628-7950 for information.

FARMERS' MARKETS. Two Farmers' Markets take place on the weekend: From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, vendors sell fresh produce, teas, honey, jams, lemon curd and natural beef at Park Mall, 5870 E. Broadway Blvd.; and from 7 a.m. to noon Sundays, more than 20 vendors hawk similar wares and treats at St. Philip's Plaza, at River Road and Campbell Avenue.

FILM FESTIVAL. St. Mark's Presbyterian Church. Calvin Hall. 3809 E. Third St. St. Mark's Presbyterian Church presents four films for viewing and discussion as part of their Race and the Church dialogue. The first film is Glory at
6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2.

FLANDRAU SCIENCE CENTER. UA campus. 621-STAR. The May shows are: In Search of New Worlds, Under Arizona Skies, Adventures in the Solar System, Our Place in Space and Light Years from Andromeda. Exhibit admission is $3, $2 for children 14 and under, or free with a theater ticket purchase. Telescope viewing is free. Daytime exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday; evening hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. LE FREAK SHOW. Mat Bevel Institute. 530 N. Stone Ave. Have some hot fun in the city with music by Whatever, The Money Shot, Wasabi and more at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 28. Check out performances by Flâm-Chén, The Wizard's Lore of Dance and many more. Admission is $5 with $1 off for freaks in full costume or donations for the community food bank.

MEMORIAL DAY PARTY. The Eastern Hills Aquatic Club holds its annual Memorial Day Parade and Pool Party on Monday, May 31. The parade begins at 10 a.m. in the Anna Henry Elementary School parking lot, 650 N. Igo Way. After the parade all are invited to a free all-day pool party. Call 722-4431 for information.
