DOWNTOWN SATURDAY. Once again, the downtown Arts District teems with activity all day and all night on Saturday, May 17. Visit the Ronstadt Transit Center from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. and hear Evan Dain and Friends. If classic rock is more your tune, Pete Fine & Beyond Words jam from 7 to 10 p.m. on Pennington Street, between Scott and Sixth avenues. See the Arts For Me display on Pennington Street between Scott and Sixth avenues, from 7 to 9 p.m. For information on other events, stop by the booth on Sixth Avenue and Congress Street, or call the Arts District Partnership at 624-9977.

FASHION FUN. Club Congress. 311 E. Congress St. Buffalo Exchange presents a fashion show with KFMA's Spyder Rhodes, from 10 to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 17. Admission is $3. Call 795-0508 or 885-8392 for information.

WILDCAT ART. Joseph Gross Gallery. UA Art Building, southeast corner of Speedway and Park Avenue. 621-1613. One day only, from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 17: Wildcat Art Exhibition 1997, featuring two- and three-dimensional art created by kindergarten through 12th grade students in the UA's Saturday Lab School, a community outreach class taught by art education majors.
