Argh! We tried to obtain a Web version of this week's Mueller cartoon by pressing it against Silly Putty and inserting the putty in our disk drive. But it got stuck, so we added some Slime (with worms) for lubrication. That's when somebody's nephew informed us that Slime is passé, and the big thing these days is Gak and its spin-off Booger Gak. There wasn't any room left in the disk drive, though, so we poured the Booger Gak all over the keyboard. That's when somebody got the bright idea of sprinkling handfuls of Pop Rocks over the back of the monitor. But we realized too late, duh, that the stuff doesn't pop without moisture, so we hurriedly poured some Strawberry Quik back there. Whaddaya know, it was so fun, and popped so loud, that we decided to douse the entire workstation with Kool Aid. Caught up in the moment, we just had to crumble graham crackers onto everything too. Easy Cheese was squirted into I/O ports while our interns blew soapy bubbles over the whole affair and art director Lucrecia "Pookie" Vonderberg took Polaroids. After all that effort you'd think the Silly Putty image would read, but -- and this is weird -- the computer wouldn't even function! What the...? So we sealed it all in a box, with some raw chicken and some yeast, and sent it to the manufacturer for repair. Good thing the warranty hasn't expired! In the meantime sorry, no Mueller cartoon.
