WRITERS' WORKSHOP. The Arizona Press Women host a workshop for writers trying to publish their works beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Plaza Hotel, 1900 E. Speedway. Luncheon keynote speaker is attorney Richard Parrish. Morning sessions are led by Allen Kates and Vicki Thompson, with an afternoon panel discussion on Arizona markets with Joanne O'Hare, Pamela Heck, Brendan Fitzsimons and Debbie Kornmiller. SPARROWGRASS POETRY. Sparrowgrass Poetry is offering a grand prize of $500 for the Distinguished Poet Awards poetry contest.
