AD VIELLE QUE POURRA. Unitarian Universalist Church. 4821 E. 22nd St. The Tucson Friends of Traditional Music present "troubador cosmonauts" Ad Vielle Que Pourra in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, February 21. FACULTY RECITAL SERIES. UA Crowder Hall. Southeast corner of Speedway and Park Avenue. The UA Faculty Recital series continues with a trumpet concert by Edward Reid at 8 p.m. Monday, February 24. Tickets are $10 general; $8 UA faculty/staff; $5 students/senior citizens, and are available at the UA Fine Arts box office. Call 621-1162 for tickets and information. OLE GRAND OPRY. The Opera Guild of Southern Arizona presents an evening of entertainment, food and fun, on Sunday, March 2, with Trio Sudoeste (featuring Alandra Fowler, soprano, Gwen Powell, flute, and Deborah Nemko, piano). In addition, act one from The Ballad of Baby Doe will be performed by Colleen Rieth, soprano, Leslie Giglio, mezzo soprano, Michael Sheranian, baritone, and Raymond Ryder on piano. Cocktails begin at 5:30, with dancing to the music of Dean Armstrong's Arizona Dance Hands at 6 p.m.. A barbecue dinner is offered at 7 p.m., with the musical program beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 ($16 is tax deductible). Call 297-1492 for tickets and information.

SLONAKER SERIES. Slonaker House. 1025 E. Second St. UA campus, just east of Park Avenue. Bring a bag lunch and take a break during the Spring Slonaker Series lunchtime concerts from 11 to 12:30 p.m. Series continues Friday, February 21. Out Of Town

DIXIE IN THE VALLEY. The Green Valley Chapter of the Tucson Jazz Society presents its fourth annual Dixieland Jazz Jamboree on Friday and Saturday, February 21 and 22. There will be performances by High Society, CanUS, Bill Dendle and "Fast Eddie" Erickson, John Denman's Clarinet Marmalade, The Mary Baker Quartet, Cool Breeze, and others.
