Writing Contest of the Society of Southwestern Authors
Writers compete for cash prizes in the Society of Southwestern Authors' annual international writing contest. Prizes range from $75 to $250 for winning short stories of 2,500 words or less, poetry of 40 lines or less, or personal essays or memoirs of 2,500 words or less.
