World Care Walk in Remembrance of Sept. 11 

When: Sun., Sept. 11, 7 a.m.-12 p.m. 2011
World Care, which delivered aid from Tucson to Ground Zero, hosts a walk and run for people and dogs from 7 a.m. to noon, Sunday, Sept. 11. The event pays tribute to that day's victims, first responders, civilian aid workers and canine search-and-rescue teams. A remembrance ceremony, canine search-and-rescue demonstrations, face-painting, a balloon artist, hot dog vendors, pet-friendly bubble games, healthy treats and doggy ice cream round out the event. $35; $25 if registered by Friday, Sept. 2.
