Viva Bike Art!

The 19th BICAS Art Auction preview party and auction weekend starts Dec. 5 at the Drawing Studio, 33 S. 6th Ave., from 6 to 10 p.m. For bike lovers and those who love downtown, this is always a special way to celebrate the good deeds of BICAS, the 25 year old bicycle collective that teaches Tucson how to care for bikes and more. This weekend will be filled with music and entertainment from the Wonder Fools, Flight School Acrobatics, and Cirque Roots, and, of course, lots of bike-inspired artwork. The family friendly event will have a children's corner as well as drinks, food and a raffle. Register for your bid number at bicas.org/art-auction/. Early bidding takes place Saturday, Dec. 6, from 11 to 5 p.m. and the silent auction is from 6 to 9 p.m. If you can't make it to the auction, consider making a donation at bicas.org/25th-anniversary/25th-supporter. For more info on the auction, go to bicas.org/art-auction or call 628-7950.
